I've worked professionally in debate, research, and communicative education at the middle, high school, and collegiate level. I'm very excited to work with you and assist any way I can.

Hi everyone! My name is Camila and I’m a sophomore majoring in Government & International Politics with a minor in Political Communication. I’m from Fairfax, VA and I’m apart of the GMU Forensics team and Latin American Political Society. In my free time I love to read, cook and trying new coffee shops! My goal is to become an immigration lawyer and help spread other peoples stories. I’m excited to meet you and strengthen your communication skills!

Hi! My name is Cassidy, I am from Chesterfield, VA and I am a junior majoring in Criminology with a minor in Spanish. My dream is to travel abroad to Spain or South America to immerse myself in the Spanish language and culture. On the side, I love playing video games, decorating cakes, and competing with GMU’s speech team. I look forward to helping you all!

Hello! My name is David. I’m a Business major with a concentration in Accounting. I love traveling (I’ve been to Pakistan (x2), Lebanon (x2), Egypt (x2), Turkey (x2), and Morocco). I love running (favorite events are 5k’s) and I also love trying out new foods. I’m hyped to work with y’all and to help you succeed in communication and in future endeavors!

Hello! I’m Elias, an English major in my third year at Mason! I’m very into writing, playwriting specifically and intend to teach English later in life. I’ve written two plays so far, both of which have been performed and directed! I’m looking forward to meeting you all!

Hi! My name is Hareer, and I am currently a sophomore majoring in marketing! I am passionate about art and have my own henna business, which gives me the chance to interact with many clients of various backgrounds. I love animals and enjoy volunteering at the animal shelter as well. I have always been fond of writing and am excited to start working at the Communication Center to help other students with their oral presentations. I look forward to meeting you all!

Hi! My name is Kai. I’m a Communication major from Charlotte, NC, with a concentration in Political Communications. I love all things music and have collected records for almost a decade now! Traveling, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family make me the happiest. I recently got back from a study abroad at The University of Oxford, and was able to spend time in Italy and Scotland as well. I am excited to work with you and further your success here at Mason!

Nicholas 

Hi!! My name is Nicholas and I am majoring in Musical Theatre. I am from the very grand state of Texas where I call El Paso my home. I’m on Mason’s Forensics team, so if I’m not performing in a musical, you can catch me performing there. While performing is my favorite thing to do I also love to run, read, try the newest flavors of anything (poppi is where I look to most), and find a new special skill to learn. A fun fact about me is that I collect just about anything Ariel (the mermaid) related. I look forward to meeting y'all. Let’s create some killer speeches together!

Hey y’all! My name is Vera and I go by they/she pronouns. I am from Alexandria, VA and a current junior-year student majoring in forensic science. Outside of classes, I compete with GMU Forensics and volunteer with the Early Identification Program to support fellow first-generation students. A fun fact about me is that I have been in Caporales, a traditional Bolivian dance, for 10 years! I look forward to working with you all.

Karsten

Hi everyone! My name is Karsten, and I’m a junior majoring in Business with a concentration in Operations and Supply Chain Management. A fun fact about me is that I used to suffer from a speech impediment at a young age, and through effective coaching and determination, I was able to overcome it and enhance my communication skills. For that reason, being a part of the Communication Center team is near and dear to my heart. Outside of school, I love to cook, sketch, and play guitar!
